SEE
Hounding my day, decisions decisions,
Wishing God's will would make a provision.
Help me, guide me, make obvious my way,
Before the delights of my world lead me astray.
I wish oftentimes I didn't have to wait to so long;
God's timing seems so oft prolonged.
My heart how it longs to join those passing by,
With journeys and destinies; things to do, paths to try!
I feel I've sat idle, yet each day is full.
My life doesn't glitter, but it's never quite dull.
I haven't attained the American dream;
But God needs me to wait a while for mine it would seem.
I'm not complaining, but my time is short;
"But my timing is perfect" God says in retort.
"Be Still" most have said, how must I obey?
Don't I need to prepare or turn the right way?
How can I move on or speed things along?
My life is at standstill, my time here is long.
I ask God always what to do, "where to go?"
Older voices around me say, "stop a bit, take it slow."
I've not much experience in living this life;
So I'll cut my losses through with a knife.
Hand life over to God while down on my knees,
And there with my eyes closed, I know I shall see.

To anyone struggling with their place in God's plan, and if they're lost on this journey God has them on, this is for you and others like you.
You're not alone.
Matthew 28:20
