Merry, Merry Christmas to you!

Merry Christmas Readers!
So..... it's Christmas again is it? I can scarcely believe it! It flew by like a sudden blow of wind! I absolutely hate it! But, there's not a whole lot I can do about it. But I can write and the time it takes to do it, I enjoy immensely. Here is a special poem written to you.....
The Truest Meaning of Christmas
Christmas time comes it brings such joy
For every little girl and boy
Gifts pile up under the tree
Oh look! There's one for me!

When we open up our gifts
We shout with delight
We're letting the meaning
Of the season slip away like a sudden light.

Why was Jesus born in a humble stable?
Why weren't the innkeepers able
To give them a better place to stay?
On this glorious Christmas day?!

When we're almost done with our gift wrapping
And when I look out the window far above the trees
I see Christ's beautiful, and miraculous star
I feel it may be shining, yes shining just for me.
