Quite Simply....Fall
What is the greatest season of all?
The one where colorful leaves do fall
Yellow, golden, red, or brown,
Isn't it lovely when the leaves fall down!
Leaves will cover the forest floor
What beauty their colors, what splendor galore!
That's not all to Fall, no, no, no
Just wait and see what else there is to show!
There's Thanksgiving dinner, what a feast!
The turkey is huge! man, what a beast!
Don't forget mashed potatoes and gravy too
And the pumpkin pie made by Aunt Lou!
Come brother, let's go romp and play
Out in the leaves all day!
One, two, three, go! And jump
And then you land with a mighty THUMP!
So what season do you play in the leaves?
And when does the frost start to drip off the eaves?
So, Sir, what is the greatest season of all?
Quite simply my friend, the season of Fall.
