A Science Experiment
We are in the middle of our Astronomy book right now. We actually started studying it over the summer so that we can cover two books this year. It has been lots of fun and I have learned a lot!
I took this picture of the moon this evening. I thought the sky was very pretty.
We just finished our study of Mars. Did you know the largest volcano in our solar system is on Mars? It is called Olympus Mons. Tonight Mariah, mama and I made a volcano. It was pretty fun. Afterwards we looked up videos on the Internet of volcanoes erupting. It was amazing! I wouldn't want to live close to one.
I really should have doubled the salt dough recipe.
Mars is the planet that is the most like Earth. They have talked about creating an ecosystem on Mars where people could actually live. Hmmm..... With the SUMMER temperatures only reaching 32 degrees? Doesn't sound like fun to me!
